Supporting Hillfield Animal Home Burton

“Dogs, bring your owners! Owners bring your wallets!” DATE TBA

Hillfield Animal Home

Hillfield Animal Home are an independent branch of the RSPCA. ‘By all lawful means’ they are charged with preventing cruelty and alleviating suffering of all animals as well as promoting kindness.

Hillfield Animal Home have to raise all their own funds (the minimum they need to function is £5000 per week) with more funds often required and without private donations face an uphill battle to help more and more animals in need. They currently have two shops, one in Burton and the other is in Swadlincote and all proceeds from the sale of donated goods go towards supporting this amazing charity.

Our company

Premier Self Storage has been established both within the removals and storage industry for some 30 years now, having built our business and reputation in Burton we appreciate the support we have received over the years and now welcome the opportunity to give something back to this local community in a fun and meaningful way.

The Sponsored Dog Walk

The proposed walking route is approximately 5 miles and we would kindly ask everyone to donate a £1 minimum entry fee and gain sponsorship from as many friends and family members for each mile completed. Everyone is welcome, doggies especially and you only have to walk as far as you want.

Dogs bring your owners! Owners bring your wallets! Premier Self Storage will match every pound raised
The total of which will be donated in full to the Hillfield Animal Home. We hope to raise as much money as possible whilst raising awareness of all the work this great charity does here in Burton-on-Trent!

Location

The walk will take place at the Rosliston Forestry Centre. There are parking facilities available as well as toilets, picnic / BBQ areas and is wheelchair accessible.  Entrance is free to the Rosliston Forestry centre and the address is – Rosliston Forestry Centre, Burton Road, Rosliston, Swadlincote, Derbyshire, DE12 8JX

Hot / cold drinks, snacks (ice creams if we are fortunate to have a summers day for our event!) are all available from the on site cafe and there are also free doggy bags available from the shop and reception.

Please Note

The RSPCA does not support animals in clothing so we would kindly ask you to remove their clothing, not yours!

Due to the time of the year we recommend you bring water and a bowl for your four-legged friends to top up at the facilities.

Pay and Display parking is available for just £4 for the entire day or £1.50 per hour
